Liza Starlight
Liza Starlight comes from Pontypridd, South Wales, also the home of
Tom
Jones.
Liza has been learning her craft of singing for over 20 years on
the local music scene. She has performed with Peter Karrie, Owen
Money and Chris Needs, and has even sung to over 20,000 American
fans on the same stage as Jefferson Starship.
These achievements are put into perspective by the fact that
Liza has had had two kidney transplants. But she refused to let her
health problems bring her down, and she has brought her voice into
the public domain with an album called The Voice Of Wales, released
on 20 November 2006.
But don't take our word for it. Simon Cowell's verdict as she
auditioned for the X Factor in 2004? "You're like a Mini with a
Ferrari engine," referring to her huge voice despite her 4'10"
height.
