The tale is a great favourite with
both young and old.
The pantomime takes us from London to
exotic places. The part of Dick Whittington starts as a young man
with nowhere to live and so he decides to make his fortune in
London. His dreams do come true when he wishes that he was
the Lord Mayor, but it isn't an easy journey, as someone else
believes that he can rule London.
Of course Panto isn't Panto without
two people falling in love and that is exactly what happens.
Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas
without a trip to the pantomime, a British tradition dating back to
Victorian times.
Fully costumed, with traditional scenery, and a self-contained
light show, this Panto is played out by a professional team of
actors and singers.
It is a must for the children, whatever age, whatever the venue,
be it school, club or theatre.
